ABOUT US.

TOGETHER.

We are a husband and wife team working together to teach firearm safety. Our classes are to teach you to not only feel confident on the range but also in your everyday life. We want you to be ready as the first responders in your own home and your life, for yourself and your loved ones.

We look forward to working with you on the proper use, safety and function of firearms at whatever skill level you enter our classroom.

Kevin Rabon

Currently working as a Federal Security Contractor with Department of Homeland Security. I have been in different aspects of security since 2012.

I grew up around guns and was taught to have respect for guns at an early age. I was taught what the can and can not do as well as when or, better yet, when not to use a firearm.  Most importantly, I was taught about the safe handling and use of a firearm.

I was not around guns for 27 years and was reintroduced to firearms by my wife and son in 2011.

I truly believe in the constitution and the 2nd amendment and what they stand for as a whole and individually.  That we are our own first responders and that every law-abiding citizen has the right to have a firearm.  I believe that education is the key to safety in regards to firearms.

Sonia Hernandez-Rabon

I am a mom, wife and teacher for 20 years and a Certified firearms instructor. I became an instructor after my oldest son who was in the Army nudged me into getting my first training and gun. I was like most women a little apprehensive but after being on the range realized that I truly enjoyed the sport of it. My story started over 10 years ago. Let me help you begin yours. My desire to teach is in my blood as my mom and sister both worked in the school system. This was a very natural progression for me. My passion to teach something that maybe very intimidating and scary to some is what has driven me to move forward with getting my certification. I want to empower women especially and teach them not only use a gun but to learn how to be safe in their surroundings. Like I like to say… “Yeah, I shoot like a girl! Want a lesson?”

INSTRUCTORS WE WORK WITH

Tamiko Fodor

I have been a Police Officer since 2016 and I had previously worked for the FAA as an armed contractor. Before my career choice, I was introduced to firearms at a young age by my dad. He was previously in the Army and is currently my coworker. Our time at the range became a bonding time for us. So much to the point, we have matching handguns that are in sequential order.

When I started training with handguns more frequently, I felt and saw myself becoming more confident and comfortable with them. I had instructors that were hands on and patient with me, much like the instructors in these courses. With time and patience, you too can see yourself grow with confidence around firearms.

Jeremy Scott

Jeremy served as an Infantryman in the US Army, serving in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Post service, Jeremy worked in the security industry and has been a Federal Security Contractor for 6 years. He specializes in concealed carry handguns, rifles and assault tactics.

“My goal in being an instructor is to share my knowledge in firearms and belief in self defense. I aim to create a welcoming environment for all levels of experienced students while providing a class that will make you an exemplary shooter.”
